HD ELC DataBox

The Emergency Lights Configuration (ELC) DataBox is able to store the Colors, Pattern and Options for the Emergency Lights.
Each ELC DataBox is vehicle specific. Please use the ELC DataBox that was delivered with the vehicle.

To save a configuration:
Make sure that the fitting Customize HUD for the vehicle is attached.
Sit in the drivers seat of the vehicle for which you want to save the settings for the Emergency Lights.
On the top right corner of the Customize HUD click on the save/load icon next to the question mark.
Select 'Save ELC' from the ELC Menu. All compatible ELC DataBoxes within range will display a yellow arrow pointing at the box.
Click on the ELC DataBox you want to write the configuration to.
If the ELC DataBox you selected is already filled it will ask for confirmation to overwrite the existing data.
Enter a name for your configuration in the text input dialog.
To load a configuration:
Make sure that the fitting Customize HUD for the vehicle is attached.
Sit in the drivers seat of the vehicle for which you want to save the settings for the Emergency Lights.
On the top right corner of the Customize HUD click on the save/load icon next to the question mark.
Select 'Load ELC' from the ELC Menu. All compatible ELC DataBoxes within range will display a yellow arrow pointing away from the box.
Click on the ELC DataBox from which you want to load the configuration.
The ELC DataBox will display a blue arrow while all of the settings are copied.
Please wait until the arrow disappears.
Additional Features:
The display of the ELC DataBox will show its current status.
While no arrow is displayed you can click on the ELC DataBox to bring up its main menu.
'Set Color' lets you select a color for the box for easier identification of individual configurations.
'Manual' will provide an URL link to this manual.
If the ELC DataBox contains a configuration additional buttons will be available:
'Set Name' allows you to enter a different name for the saved configuration.
'Erase Data' will delete the saved configuration. Once confirmed the data can not be restored.
